To post a job on LinkedIn with your desktop, follow the steps below.

  • Click the Jobs icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage first.
  • Then click the Post a Job button.

Note that Recruiter customers may be routed to a page with different contract options they are affiliated with.

  • Hence if you are a recruiter customer, then click Continue.
  • After that, move next to (Your Name)’s LinkedIn Job Posting.

Then, complete the following fields On the Job Details page.

  1. Description: Here, you are to enter a job description (required) in the text box.
  1. Add skills: Next is to specify the skills needed for the job by clicking the Add skill icon.
  1. After that, click Continue.

Also, complete the following Applicant Options page fields:

  1. How would you like to receive applicants?

Here you will select how you want LinkedIn to notify you of the applicants that apply.

  1. Review screening questions:

Though this is optional, you can add as many questions as possible.

However, we recommend adding at least three screening questions to help you quickly identify top applicants who meet your required qualifications.

After that, you are required to add your credit card details on the checkout page.

Then click the promotion job button.

After that, choose a payment method for the purchase if you have not done so before.

Furthermore, review the order details before posting your job.

To post a job with the IOS

  • Firstly, tap the Jobs icon.
  • Then tap the More icon next to the search bar. 
  • After that, tap Post a Job from the menu that appears.
  • Hence, tap the company name for which you would like to post the job.
  • Again tap the job post from the list of previously posted jobs.
  • Or tap Create a new job if you intend to post a new job.
  • However, if you already have a link to your job post, then tap Go Back to paste your job ink.

Then enter it in the What do you want to talk about? Field.

  • But if you are creating a new job post, then enter the Job title, Location, Employment type, and Description (optional), and then tap Next.
  • Likewise, select who you want to share the post with.
  • And ultimately, Tap Post.

How to Post a Job on LinkedIn as a Company with Android

  • Firstly, tap the Jobs icon.
  • Then tap the More icon next to the search bar.
  • After that, tap Post a Job from the menu that appears.
  • Again, tap the name of the company for which you want to post the job.
  • However, if you have created a job post before, then tap the job post from the list of previously posted jobs.
  • Nevertheless, tap Create a new job to create a new job post.
  • But if you already have a link to your job post, tap Go back to paste your job link and enter it in the What do you want to talk about? Field.
  • If you are creating a new job post, enter the Job title, Location, Employment type, and Description (optional), and tap the Next button.
  • Similarly, select who you want to share the post with.
  • Finally, tap Post.

Note that only those who have purchased job slots through a corporate contract will be able to post jobs via Recruiter or Talent Hub.

That is, they will not be able to post from the jobs page, their profile, or their home feed.
